A single storey extension
Our client wanted a single storey extension added to the side of their home. As part of this extension, they wanted skylights installed to allow for natural light to enter the interior. Another benefit to adding skylights to the extension is that they allow for solar heating, helping to reduce energy costs and, conversely, they can be opened for ventilation and to cool the space down in the warmer months. They also wanted to add an extra window to the side of the house on the second storey to increase the amount of natural light entering the interior in the upstairs of the property.
We produced plans for the extension and assisted our client with attaining planning permissions for the building works and began constructing the extension, which would considerably increase the living space within their property and add significant value to their home.
